How does it happen so quickly? How did Kells go from this

How does it all happen so fast? Then he's this old and looking so handsome.

It's amazing the progression from that to this

and to see all of this personality form

into this smiling happy person

And let's not forget the funny faces

or new experiences and sensations (yummy)

and seeing them grow out of things is so sad

and then comes the attitude

the antics

and new experiences

New tricks like becoming mobile

the emotions they encounter

feeling pride

and amazing happiness

Watching my son go through all of this amazes me. And it's awesome to know that I am one of the reasons for that smile!!

The great times

Isn't it amazing the feeling you get when your child hugs you? That warmth that isn't exactly warming but makes you feel all fuzzy inside. Like you swallowed a lightening bug and it just keeps fluttering about in there? I get that feeling when my son snuggles down close to me and if I shift at all he moves even closer. When he lays his forehead against my chin and starts to hum like he is purring. It's such an amazing feeling when all he wants to do is lay on my chest and be near. It doesn't happen often which makes it all the more special and it's a feeling that ends all too quickly. This is one of the many reasons I love being a mom.

Hair DO I look?

Kells hair has once again gotten out of control so I decided to play with it a bit before I cut it again. I did his hair all cool like Danny Zucko and when he got home from daycare the babysitter had flattened it out. What's that all about? Personally, I thought he was pretty darn styling.

I think he thought so too.
